United Airlines

So as my last post stated, I went up to Portland, ME for Alex and Janell’s wedding. I used the site Kayak.com, it searches all the airlines at once, to book the flight. Booked it about 2-3 months ahead of the wedding. Paul was driving from Knoxville and we were going to fly together. Booked the two tickets and everything. Here is what happened!

Getting to Portland
Arrived at the airport on Wednesday at 4:00pm CDT. Flight schedule to depart at 6:14pm. Around 6:30pm, Paul and I realized we wouldn’t be making the connection in DC since we only had 50 minutes to catch it. Around 7:00pm, a United Rep came over the speaker and said the flight was delayed 3 hours from DC and wouldn’t be getting here till 9ish. (more…)

off to maine!

I’m heading up to Portland Maine for one of my best friend’s wedding. Alex and Janell are making it official! I’m excited about getting up there and hanging out with them! It will be a lot of fun! He is one of my fraternity brothers and I am the Best Man in the wedding! I’m pretty stoked about the whole trip!!
