first week

Well the first week of classes are over and its going to be a busy semester. Most of my classes have projects and some even have two projects. It won’t be bad and I will get through it all. Now I know I haven’t talked about the 3v3 tournament but I’m a little pissed about not doing so well. So instead of me typing what has already been said, check out Kevin’s Blog, my oldest brother, and read his post about it. Post Here and his Site Here. Well I’m still getting back into the flow of school and doing some laundry. Well I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well the meeting of the family went great. Rachel said she had a great time here even though she got stuck in two different traffic jams. Friday night coming into town Rachel got stuck in the I-24, I-59 split wreck and was in traffic for two hours! Then on Sunday when she left there was two wrecks on I-24 westbound. She had to sit in traffic for an hour and half. She wasn’t to happy about it but got here and home safely and thats all that matters. The family really enjoy Rachel coming down and hanging out. Saturday we saw Night at the Museum. The movie was really good and I would recommend everyone going to see it. Overall I think the weekend and everything went great! Thursday is my last day of work at InfoSystems and then after work I’m driving to Rachel’s house in Nashville. I’m staying there because my flight is so early Friday morning. This weekend is the 3v3 Soccer tournament so I will try and keep you’ll up-to-date on the games and scores. Have a great week.

Campeon 2006

So I don’t know if i had told you all yet, but the TTU Club soccer team as been playing on a league here in Cookeville. Its a Mexican League. Well the finals were today, and you guessed it, we won! The final score was 4 – 1 or maybe 5 – 1. I scored 2 in the first half and it was a pretty good game. The second half our defense was strong and held them to just one goal. The whole league was a lot of fun. A lot of yelling at the refs and fans, but we made it to the finals. We got a trophy, shirts, and hats. They are all in Spanish, but who cares! They are sweet with Campeon 2006 on them. The hats are the funniest and I plan on sporting them around a lot.

Just glad homecoming week is over and can get back to a normal week. Washer machine ended up breaking today, so I had to fix it with a new drain hose. But its all clear now. Just doing some laundry and catching up on the books. And volleyball starts this week for the Fraternity. My Co-Ed team is 3-0 right now. Just a short update on sports. Holla!

So, if you haven’t heard. I’m going to Disney World for a 3 on 3 Soccer tournament. 3v3Soccer is hosting it. Its the National Tournament. Kevin (my oldest brother), Brian (my middle brother), Preston, Justin Medlen, Jeff Maddux, and me will be playing. We have played in two tournaments already and did pretty well. Its going to be a fun trip, plus we are staying right next to Animal Kingdom. We will probably go the park on day when we don’t play soccer. Its in Janurary so the weather is going to be great! I’ll keep yall up to date on it.
