// March 3rd, 2011 // No Comments » // technology, website

Evening All,
Hope your week is going great so far. I wanted to share a couple websites that are great of information and very useful for any type of Web Developer.

Those two websites are great. Chris (css-tricks) is way on top of CSS and lots of other items. Like PHP, htacess edits. Check out her Snippets section. Loads of information. Jeff & Chris (digwp) both run this website. If you use WP or looking into why, you need to check out this website.

I check both of them daily. Well thats my little giving for the day. My wife is studying tonight so I’ve got some nerd time!!

Also made a new release of Current Location! Now up to 1.5.3. Check it out here.

Another reason not to trust Microsoft!

Search through Digg.com this morning I ran across this article about Microsoft IE new campaign. Internet Explorer(IE) Mythbusters. It goes through 4 myths about IE and IE8. I think these four myths are some reason why IE is rapidly losing market share. My favorite myth is #4, Internet Explorer doesn’t play well with Web Standards. The reason why I like this myth so much is because I am all about web standards. When web pages are coded to the web standard; browsers and computers render the page a lot faster. When you put in “design hacks” it slows down the performance of the site. Check out the Geektechnica article talking about the Ad campaign.

Microsoft, should just admit IE sucks and learn from FireFox, Safari, and Chrome.

Update: Current Location Plugin

My plugin that I’m currently working on is almost done. It’s about 85% done. Once I finish the code, I will go through a QA process to ensure everything works correctly. So it’s pretty simple to use and work with. Just the way I like it! Check back soon for the download!
